Bruce formed Mania while he was at Format Arts to record and perform his latest original songs as well as flotsam and jetsam left over from the Cain Lake project and even a couple of Bruce’s Eddies tunes. The band had several different drummers but Freddy Krumins and Don Freeborn were the principal players. "Boomin'" Reuben Ramirez played bass throughout, Bruce Main on guitar and songwriting of course, Patrick Bufi on lead vocals until near the end when Darryl Schroeder sang and Mark Phraner played guitar for the duration. The band worked up a night’s worth of cover tunes as well and played the club scene in Seattle to support their original music.
